JDRF’s mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
Through our three offices located in Wellesley Hills, MA, Manchester, NH, and Warwick, RI, we serve Maine, eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, and offer invaluable community outreach, support and education as well as a variety of events throughout the year to raise funds for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors working with professional staff and volunteers, the New England Chapter works to raise funds for a cure through donations, corporation and foundation support and partnerships, and our signature events. We also advocate for increased federal funding for diabetes research, and organize local education and support programs as well as conduct outreach to individuals and families at all stages of T1D.

Thank you for your interest and support. JDRF was created–and is still led–by people with a personal connection to T1D. That gives us an unrelenting passion and commitment to find better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people with this disease. Together, we are making a difference in the lives and futures of people with T1D.
