A concert to benefit JDRF
Come sing, dance, and be silly with Steve Roslonek of SteveSongs. Steve blends participatory songs, clever stories and great melodies to create what the Boston Globe called “not just a musical journey but an entertaining, interactive and educational one”. Winner of numerous awards including Parents’ Choice Gold Awards and Children’s Music Web Album of the Year, Steve is also Mr. Steve co-host of PBS KIDS preschool destination!
WHEN: Friday, March 21st doors open at 5:30 p.m., concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. Meet and Greet with Steve after the concert.
WHERE: Belmont Day School, 55 Day School Lane, Belmont, MA
WHY: Have fun while helping find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D)!
WHAT IS T1D: T1D is an autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the beta cells in the pancreas, which produce insulin, a hormone essential to turning food into energy. T1D strikes both children and adults and is unrelated to diet or lifestyle. It is a life altering disease that impacts millions of people, requiring 24/7 blood sugar testing, carbohydrate counting, and insulin injections.
COST: $10 per person if purchase online. $12 (cash/check) at the door.
