Volunteer

Ultimately, it is the passion of our volunteers that sets JDRF’s tone and agenda. Volunteers are an invaluable asset to the success of our events and outreach programs as well as to our larger research funding goals. By donating their time and energy, volunteers allow us to contribute more dollars to our ongoing research efforts.

Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of skill sets to JDRF. Whatever your talents may be, we need you. Please consider becoming a JDRF volunteer. It’s worth your time.

Available volunteer opportunities include:

-Working “behind the scenes” at the Boston Gala or Walk to Cure Diabetes, or providing pre- and post-event support

-Supporting families and individuals with a type 1 diabetes connection

-Becoming a Youth Ambassador

-Federal and local advocacy efforts for additional research funding

-Serving on a Committee

-Organizing a Third Party or Team JDRF event or promotion

-Office support such as mailings, making phone calls, and data entry

-Participate in a clinical trial
