JDRF has the opportunity to be selected as the winner of Microsoft’s “Upgrade Your World” social media contest!  If selected as the winner, JDRF will receive a $500,000 cash donation and a combination of Microsoft technology, services, and promotional support.  Voting is open to anyone 13 years of age or older who has lawfully registered for an account on one or more of these free social media websites: Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Minors must have consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate.

There are three ways to vote during the voting period. Friends and families of JDRF may vote once a day, per social platform.

• Log in to your Twitter or Instagram accounts and post a public message which includes the hashtags #UpgradeYourWorld, #vote and tag @JDRF. Here is an eligible Tweet or Instagram Comment: #UpgradeYourWorld #vote @JDRF.
• Log in to your Facebook account, visit the Windows page (http://www.facebook.com/windows) and find our post seeking votes for the contest. Post a comment in response to this post which includes the hashtags #UpgradeYourWorld, #vote and tag @JDRF.
• Visit www.windows.com/upgradeyourworld and follow voting instructions to fill in JDRF to share on Facebook or Twitter.
